Table of Contents
1. Navagio Beach, Greece
Zakynthos is a beautiful island on Greece’s southwest coast, and it has beautiful beaches, quiet coves, and green valleys. But Navagio Beach, a famous shipwreck and a small cove with a beautiful beach and clear water, maybe better known outside Greece. The beach is out of the way and gets a lot of sun during the day, so it’s a great place to sunbathe. The mystery of the shipwreck makes the history of this beach a little more interesting.
This sandy place is often called “Smuggler’s Cove,” wedged between two massive limestone cliffs. It’s famous for having a shipwreck in the middle that tourists can explore when they get tired of laying out.
2. Benagil Sea Cave, Portugal
The Benagil Sea Cave, also called Algar de Benagil, is one of the most beautiful sea caves you will ever see. It’s one of those places that looks just as pretty in pictures as in real life. The Algarve coast is pretty just by itself, with its cliffs. But if you kayak into the sea cave, you’ll end up in a different place. The circle-shaped opening at the top of the cave and the calm strip of sand below it are amazing. You can book a tour from Portimao that will take you to this place.
Even though you can only get to this cave by boat, it’s worth the trip. It has a natural oculus on top of a secluded beach, and when the sun shines on it from above, it is a beautiful sight to see.
3. Playa del Amor
There’s a reason why this beach is called “Love Beach.” Couples and people who just got married have come to this hidden beach for years to celebrate their love. It’s an adventure to get to this beach. From Puerto Vallarta, it takes an hour to get to the beach. It would help if you kept going northwest, where Banderas Bay meets the sea. From there, Love Beach is easy to find because it is close to where the sandy cave opens. The secret beach is not only private and romantic but also wonderful.
You might notice that a lot of land surrounds this beach. To get to the hidden beach, you have to swim underwater through a short tunnel.
4. Pink Beach
Millions of tiny, bright pink sea creatures called foraminifera have broken shells that are all over the beaches of Bonaire. That’s how the place got its name, Pink Beach. Pink Beach is a great place to go if you want to snorkel or dive with scuba gear. Even though the beach isn’t vast, it’s an excellent place for picnics and relaxing, beautiful views. The pink colour of the beach and the blue colour of the water in the Caribbean Sea make it a great place to take pictures.
You’d think people would flock to this beach to see the pink sand when it rains. But it’s pretty remote because it’s on a narrow strip of sand, and there aren’t many places to go nearby.
5. Breivika, Vaeroy Island
Norway’s island of Vaeroy is known for its unique landscape and weather. This island is far from the other Lofoten islands and doesn’t get as many visitors as the main islands. The beautiful beach of Breivik is on the eastern side of the island. This beach’s white sand and pebbles, backed by high cliffs that are often hidden by clouds, make an excellent place for the turquoise water of the Arctic Ocean to hide. Even though the beach is in the Arctic Circle, for a short time every year, it is warm enough to wear a t-shirt.
6. Whitehaven Beach, Australia
Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, the largest of the 74 islands that make up the Whitsundays, has won awards for being clean and beautiful. Whitehaven Beach is over seven kilometers long and has some of the world’s purest, whitest silica sand. When you put your feet in the sand and walk into the warm waves that gently hit the shore, you’ll quickly understand why people come from worldwide to visit this place.
Hill Inlet is at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach. It is a beautiful inlet where the tide moves the sand and water to make a beautiful mix of colors. Hill Inlet and Whitehaven Beach are two places that many people say are the most beautiful places they’ve ever seen. The best place to see the moving sands of Hill Inlet is from the lookout at Tongue Point. If you don’t mind a short bushwalk, book a Whitehaven tour that goes to the lookout.
There are a few ways to enjoy Whitehaven Beach. There are ferries, yachts, powerboats, and luxury cruising yachts that leave Airlie Beach for day trips. Several sailing companies also offer charters that last more than one day and include a visit to Whitehaven Beach.
7. Calanque d’En Vau
A small strip of white pebbles and sand is at the end of a deep canyon called Calanque d’En Vau. It is protected by the calm turquoise water of the Mediterranean. Over time, cliffs that have been twisted into jagged pinnacles are covered with lush pine trees. To get to the beach, you have to walk for about an hour over rough, quiet ground and then take a steep path down the limestone cliffs. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery at Calanque d’En Vau, or you can go rock climbing or snorkeling.
Calanque d’En Vau can describe this hidden gem in one word: rocky. Most people walk from Cassis, a fishing village, which takes a few hours. Be careful because the path can be very rocky.
8. Praia Trancoso, Brazil
Almost every beach in Brazil is known for being full of people. Because of this, it’s hard to find beaches in Brazil that tropical tourists haven’t already checked out. Praia Trancoso is one of the few beaches in Brazil where you can go to bars and restaurants to experience the local culture and still be close to a quiet beach. Praia Trancoso is also home to a lot of hippies and bohemians. You can listen to traditional Brazilian music at the beach shacks or just walk along the beach until it gets dark.
Many famous people, like Anderson Cooper, love to go to this hidden paradise, but it’s not easy to get there. Plan to drive an hour from the nearest airport and take a ferry across a river.
9. Vatersay Beach, Scotland
This Scottish island rivals the Caribbean in terms of white beaches and beautiful blue water, but there are fewer tourists. Although Vatersay, like the surrounding islands of Sandra, Pabbay, and Mingulay, is not entirely abandoned, the population between the island and the connected continent of Barra is just around 1,200 people. Several bird species, including razorbills, gannets, guillemots, and puffins, can be seen on Vatersay’s beaches.
Vatersay is the Outer Hebrides’ southernmost inhabited island and one of the archipelago’s most gorgeous islands. With huge white sand beaches and blue waters equal to those found in the Caribbean, time on this magnificent island will be remembered for a long time
10. Glass Beach, California
Glass Beach is located south of MacKerricher State Park in Fort Bragg. Glass Shore gets its name from the smooth, colorful shards of glass that litter the pebbly beach. Because this location was originally a garbage dump, shattered bottles were transformed into little treasures to be discovered and photographed in nearby residents’ garbage cans (and left behind). Although it is unlawful to remove some glass from Glass Beach, this hasn’t stopped people from taking what appears to be a small amount.
11. Nanjizal Beach, England
Nanjizal (or Nanjizel) stays the same and rarely gets busy because it isn’t easy to get to. This beach is Cornwall’s best-kept secret. It is a beautiful cove with rocks and water that is very clear, and It is at the end of a little, shallow valley. The beach used to have a lot more sand, but storms about 20 years ago took it away. But it does look like it is coming back. There are many caves and interesting rock formations for those who want to do more than look at the view. One of the most exciting things about Nanjizel is the Zawn Peggy chasm, which is right next to the Higher Bosistow cliffs.
If you plan and wear good hiking shoes, you can enjoy this secret English cove, about an hour’s walk from the nearest road or parking lot.
12. Playa Mina, Costa Rica
Playa Mina is not a very big beachIt takes less than 10 minutes to walk from one end to the other. In the clear water of the sea, you might be able to see some fish. A few fishermen will also be working near the beach. At Playa Mina, the only building is an old house falling apart. The water at Playa Mina gets deep very quickly, so kids shouldn’t swim there. The best thing to do at Playa Mina is to enjoy the peace and have a picnic with your close friends and family.
You can walk the length of this empty beach in about 10 minutes, and the only thing you’ll see is an empty house. Be careful! It’s best to stay on land because the water here is intense and quick moves.
13. Coffee Bay Beach, South Africa
Coffee Bay Beach starts at the mouth of the Nenga River. It is surrounded by black-faced cliffs, white beaches, and jade hills and mountains. On this stretch of beach, people often ride horses, surf, swim, and layout in the sun. The long coast is also very popular with locals because they can walk and hike. There are a few restaurants and retreats near the beach, which makes it an excellent place for everyone to visit.
The name of this beautiful bay comes from a ship that dropped a load of coffee beans on the coast. The four-hour drive from the airport to the white beaches is worth it. Just watch out for animals, as they can cross the road, making it hard to drive here, especially at night.
14. Anse Source d’Argent
The truly best thing about Anse Source d’Argent is the breathtaking scenery. It is one of the most beautiful beaches globally because it has shallow, clear water, golden sand, and huge granite formations. It is a must-see for anyone on vacation in Seychelles. High tide sometimes covers the whole beach, making it a great place to take pictures of the clear water. The coral reef around the beach makes it a great place to swim.
15. Achill Island
At the base of Achill Head, Keel Beach is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Achill Island. The beach is a great place to lay out in the sun and see natural landmarks like Slievemore, Mweelaun Cliffs, and the Bill, a famous group of three rock stacks that stand alone. Keel beach is a great place to go diving, suAnse Source d’Argentrfing, windsurfing, swimming, or even for a long walk on the golden sand beach. Keem Bay is Achill’s most remote Blue Flag beach.
